Behind The Scenes Teaser for “Vacationland” (2012)

Filming for my documentary Vacationland, set in the seasonal towns of Southern Maine, has officially come to an end. Through the next few months I will be working hard in the editing room to finish this baby off. It is all very exciting, and I invite you to follow the progress of the film on Facebook and Twitter. We have many hours of footage to go through and edit before we finish the picture and audio post production work, but the final film will be polished and submitted to festivals in early February.

Here is a behind-the-scenes teaser that we’ve posted on our website and various social media outlets. In the coming weeks, we will be posting promo clips of some entertaining bonus footage we captured with our subjects. These will be posted here as they become available. Enjoy!

Good Game performs at The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival

This year my sketch comedy troupe will be performing once again in the annual Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival. Each year in Toronto, the festival highlights the best sketch comedy troupes this city has to offer. This year, headliners of the festival include Picnicface (sketch comedy series on the Comedy Network, and the producers of the movie Rollertown), This is That, and Two Kids One Hall (Scott Thompson and Kevin McDonald from The Kids in The Hall, CBC/HBO). Some other troupes definitely worth seeing this year are The Imponderables, Falcon Powder, Smells Like The Eighties, The Williamson Playboys, Punchdrysdale, and of course my troupe Good Game. Most of the shows at the festival feature a sample of performances from different troupes around the city, so this really is the best opportunity to see the funniest of what Toronto has to offer.

Roarockit: Inside Jobs, The Globe & Mail

This is a short piece that I edited along with Rosa Park of White Lioness Media for The Globe and Mail. Roarockit is a Toronto-based company that has allowed skate boarders to create their own skateboards, providing workshops and starter kits using the company’s patented board making technology. Very cool stuff!
